Srinagar, Pahalgam and Sonamarg Tour Itinerary
Meet and greet on arrival and you will be transferred to Srinagar. while reach check inn Evening enjoy Shikara Ride which covers , Floating Gardens, Canals Lake market etc. Complimentary from our side. After refreshment tour for Local sightseeing Visit Nishat Garden known as 'Garden of pleasure' built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as 'Garden of love' built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr- un-Nissa) also visit Chashme Shahi and parimahal. Evening return dinner and Overnight Srinagar.
After breakfast full day trip to Sonamarg (meadow of gold), it has sheer scenic splendor. The very way-a metalled road - snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breath taking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. While reach after refreshment Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier (at your own cost)- a major attraction during the summer months. Sonamarg's importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see snowy mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Evening return and night stay Srinagar.
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (2440 Meters above Sea level). It is one of the most beautiful hill stations and also called “Meadows of Flower”. It has world’s highest golf course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing. On arrival and after refreshment one can visit Jai Jai Shiv Shankar Temple and also enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Kongdori and affarwat. Evening return dinner and night stay Srinagar.
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds).Which is about 96 kms from Srinagar, which will be covered in app. 3 hours. You Can visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), on En-route. Drive through the pine
forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. While reach after refreshment One can hire ponies at their own cost to visit mini Switzerland, green valley, kashmir valley, bobby house and much more. one can hire a union car (at your own cost) visit betab valley, Aru, and chandanwari. evening return dinner and night Stay at Srinagar.
After breakfast check out and you will be transferred to Srinagar airport in order to connect with onwards destinations with sweet memories of Kashmir.
